BHP MCC16/31 VSD Upgrade Mt Arthur Coal
AVE Technologies successfully delivered the MCC16/31 VSD Upgrade at BHP Mt Arthur Coal, a project that earned the 2025 NECA NSW Excellence Award. The scope involved replacing ageing drives with Schneider Altivar 980 VSDs and integrating them into a new switchroom to improve safety, efficiency, and reliability. Our team managed complex outages, detailed planning, and collaborative stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless delivery. The project was completed safely, on time, and within the revised budget, reinforcing AVE’s reputation for technical excellence in industrial solutions. This achievement has already led to further opportunities with BHP and strengthened relationships with key suppliers.
High-Resolution Outdoor LED Display Installation For Sports Club
Since 1947, Singleton United Rugby League Football Club, known as the Greyhounds, has been a pillar of the community, committed to being the club of choice for Singleton and its surrounding areas. With a mission to provide exceptional facilities and resources that empower every player—junior and senior alike—to reach their full potential, the Greyhounds are dedicated to creating sustainable pathways and embracing the evolving dynamics of the sport. At AVE Technologies, we’re proud to support this vision by completing the design, supply, and installation of a state-of-the-art outdoor LED display.
Catherine McAuley College Audio Visual System
The Catherine McAuley Catholic College in Medowie is one of the newest secondary schools in the Hunter region. To assist this cutting-edge learning pathway, Catherine McAuley school engaged us with installing various audiovisual systems across the college campus. These systems consist of digital signage displays, audio and video distribution systems, conferencing systems, and professional PA equipment that provide students with a deeply engaging learning environment.
Central NSW Copper Mine ADSS Fibre Installation
AVE Technologies successfully bid to install 700 meters of ADSS fibre over 7 x 66KV overhead power lines in a Copper mine in Central NSW.
The scope of the work was to provide reliable comms from the Copper mine’s current core network cabinet onsite to a new vent fan shaft located at the end of a 66KV direct-fed fan.
