AVE Technologies successfully delivered the MCC16/31 VSD Upgrade at BHP Mt Arthur Coal, a project that earned the 2025 NECA NSW Excellence Award. The scope involved replacing ageing drives with Schneider Altivar 980 VSDs and integrating them into a new switchroom to improve safety, efficiency, and reliability. Our team managed complex outages, detailed planning, and collaborative stakeholder engagement to ensure seamless delivery. The project was completed safely, on time, and within the revised budget, reinforcing AVE’s reputation for technical excellence in industrial solutions. This achievement has already led to further opportunities with BHP and strengthened relationships with key suppliers.

To assist this cutting-edge learning pathway, Catherine McAuley school engaged us with installing various audiovisual systems across the college campus. These systems consist of digital signage displays, audio and video distribution systems, conferencing systems, and professional PA equipment that provide students with a deeply engaging learning environment.

The scope of the work was to provide reliable comms from the Copper mine’s current core network cabinet onsite to a new vent fan shaft located at the end of a 66KV direct-fed fan.
